The council voted 8-3 Tuesday night placing up so called “urban decay” spots and giving 10 yrs of home tax reductions.
The spots encompass residential areas in the valley, from Wayne Road in close proximity to Downtown Peoria north to the McClugage Bridge. The other section is on the south side, from Western Avenue west to the town limits.
